Find Me on Air: Every Saturday with Nina between 5 and 7pm

First Job: Helping out voluntarily at my local builder’s merchant…not the ideal job to start with!

Favourite Music: Rock/Pop

Favourite Food: Decisions decisions… proberly Ham and Mushroom Pizza!

Favourite Drink: Alcoholic or Non Alcoholic? Alcoholic – Malibu and Coke or a nice cold pint of Cider, Non Alcoholic - Coke

Star Sign: Virgo

Who is the most famous person you’ve ever met? It is difficult to narrow it down as I've met so many like:

- Michael Winslow – The man who makes noises from Police Academy

- Chris Barrie – Rimmer from Red Dwarf and Tomb Raider films

- Tommy Walsh – The DIY Man himself

- William Daniels – The Voice of K.I.T.T from Knightrider!

And not forgetting: we did a show live from Antony Worrall Thompson’s kitchen!

Favourite Holiday Destination: Well I've only been on holiday in this country and I would have to say Cornwall.

Favourite TV Programme / Film: TV Programme that would be close between 'The Simpson’s' and 'Star Trek. Films, now I've watched it at cinema, The Simpson’s Movie!

Best Thing about Working at HFM: The Sound of the station and what we give to the Community

Fascinating Fact about Me: I taught myself to play the keyboard and read music from about 5 years old.

Your Favourite Pass Time / Hobby: Playing the Keyboard.

Most embarrassing (NOT RUDE!) Moment: I haven’t really had many embarrassing moments that I can think of however, one that sticks out is when we were on air about a month after we launched at HFM and I went to close the blind because the sun was on the monitor. I pulled the cord and it wouldn't move so I pulled it a bit harder and I it came out of the wall...doesn’t sound that embarrassing but when there was about 8 people watching through the window to the studio and a few people high up from HFM that was when it got embarrassing!

What made you want to get a job in the radio industry: I just love music and I feel that music is a part of my life, music helps with your different moods throughout your life and there is always 1 song that WILL help you change that mood and with the variance in music we have at HFM, its ideal for an everyday person

Fascinating Fact about Me: I'm writing a novel

Your Favourite Pass Time / Hobby: Dancing

Most embarrassing (NOT RUDE!) Moment: One dark, winter’s night I parked on my friend’s drive. When I went to leave, I realised the front wheels were on grass and the rear wheels were on the concrete so the front end of the car was sunk in the mud. By the time I had finished attempting to reverse the car, their house and windows were covered in mud. It took her husband and a neighbour 2 hours to get my car out! Now there is a neat little rockery in place of the grassy area! A great reminder every time I go round there!

What made you want to get a job in the radio industry: Vanity!
